In loving memory of my Mom

On Tuesday April 12, 2012 at 3:36PM, I said good-by to an awesome human being……My Mom! John 3:36 says’ “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life”. That wasn’t a coincidence. Thankfully, my mom does believe in the Son and so do I which makes it comforting to know that I’ll see her again. My mom died of Lung cancer following a three year battle with the disease. As much as she suffered in her own treatments, she never missed a chemo treatment with me…….NEVER! She was at my side for six hours at a time. She was the epitome of God’s grace and I’m certain that she’s in the magnificent glory of God right now! Once again, cancer has taken the life of yet another beautiful human being. 

Can you imagine if Dr. Tuohy’s vaccine turns out to be successful on women? Don’t you believe that it would be just a matter of time until this vaccine is enhanced on treatments of other forms of cancer? My mom left this earth as selfless as she lived it. She surprised me (in her obituary) with a suggestion to her visitors. The message said “In lieu of flowers, could you please donate to the Toni Turchi Foundation”. I love you so much Mom and I’m going to make you proud before God takes me home too!

My heart aches with sadness and loneliness. I went to my mom for everything and I miss her so much. It’s only been two days since we gave her to Jesus.
Psalm 34:18 tells me “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit”. I hope that you’re working through me now Dear Lord because my spirit is indeed crushed!
